Just Like Sugar, Inc. has acquired two CD’s to benefit the Rainforests entitled, Earthrise and Earthrise Two. Artists include Dire Straits - REM - Genesis - U2 - Elton John- Eurythmics - Stereo MC's - Queen- Meatloaf - Richard Marx - INXS - Tears for Fears - Joe Walsh - Paul McCartney - Paul Simon- Artists United for Nature - Sting - Seal - Peter Gabriel - Kate Bush - Steve Winwood - Spirit of the Forest – and Julian Lennon.
Through the venue of The ‘X’ Zone Radio & TV Show, based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, www.xzoneradio.com, www.xzonetv.com hosted by its creator and executive producer Rob McConnell, members of The ‘X’ Zone Nation will be able to do their part to combat the problems with Global Warming caused by the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest. The ‘X’ Zone Radio & TV Show will host a week long Global Warming special that is planed to start April 9, 2007 from 7: pm to 11: pm PST. Rob McConnell will have top experts on Global Warming on this week-long show. Mike Pinera with some very special guests will also make an appearance on this week long world wide event.
During the ‘X’ Zone Radio & TV show, listeners and viewers will be given the opportunity to contribute to the Just Like Sugar, Inc. “Save the Amazon Re-Forestation Project.” All contributors will receive as special thanks, their choice of Mike Pinera’s Garden Of Eden CD with the picture book or the Earthrise CD with picture book while supplies last.”
Contributions to the project will help planting of trees in the Amazon Rainforest, support for the Rainforest communities, and help in stopping Global Warming, which will help protect the Amazon Rainforest for future generations.
The donation price for the “Save the Amazon Re-Forestation Project” is 39.95 plus shipping and handling.
