Mangia Pizza, the fun and funky Austin-based pizza chain sold more pizza last month than any February in years past and they attribute that growth in large part to the help of their updated look and the strategic advertising plan implemented by Envision Creative Group.
February has been a good month for Mangia Pizza for several years due to their Chicago-style heart shaped pizza. However, this year they realized an average of 18.2 % growth in sales across all of their stores, and a 48% increase at their new Guadalupe store. John Kinnaird, managing partner with Mangia stated that “This was the best February the restaurant has experienced since it’s opening in 1988, and Envision Creative Group is responsible for most of that growth. They’ve brought an exciting new energy and a level of consistency that Mangia has been missing for years.”
In addition to the Valentines Day growth, Mangia has experienced significant revenue growth across the board since they began working with Envision Creative Group. Envision initiated the marketing upgrade in 2005 with the design of a new website that allows for online ordering, expanded on that design with a new menu system for all of the restaurants that launched in early December of 2006, and has executed a consistent, ongoing, targeted advertising plan.
Mangia opened its 6th location in Round Rock recently and has plans to continue to expand into other markets while holding close to its Austin ties and its Austin vibe.
