PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 21, 2007 – CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Rhonda Morgan, vice president of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions, a communications solutions provider, has announced that the company has inked a deal to provide Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems to The Ivey, a new adult day services center located on Park South Drive in the Southpark area of Charlotte.  ATCOM will provide the center with the latest VoIP platform, which allows deployment of VoIP and connection to future sites.  The package features an Omegatrek in-building wireless phone allowing staff to communicate internally and externally quickly and efficiently from their wireless set, eliminating the need for intercom systems.  The package also includes a Unified Messaging system, which will provide The Ivey a single access to e-mail, voicemail and faxes, as well as a link to increased functionality and visual control using Outlook Web access.  The Ivey is currently scheduled to open in September of 2007.  ATCOM will install the VoIP system in two separate phases.
