Automated Small Parts Storage with the Rotomat Carousel

The Hänel Rotomat, distributed exclusively throughout the UK and Ireland by IAS Industore, has revolutionised small parts storage in the warehouse.  The Rotomat Carousel uses a series of computer controlled vertically rotating shelves (paternoster) to bring stored items to the user at an ergonomically positioned access point in a matter of seconds.  Another key benefit of this innovative system is that it stores items on a very small footprint.  Floor space savings of up to 80% can be made freeing up valuable warehouse space; further optimisation of space is provided by the Rotomat’s ability to provide high storage densities.  Furthermore, high value goods can be protected from fire by a range of fire suppression systems; they can also be protected from theft by computer controlled operator ID systems.
