Eco Tour: The Madagascar Experience
Famed for its ecological diversity and vast array of indigenous wildlife, Madagascar is one of the world’s most popular eco-travel destinations. This tour begins in the capital Antananarivo, before moving on to Mandraka where travellers have the opportunity to experience Madagascar’s legendary scenery first hand, feed wild lemurs and explore the Chameleon Sanctuary. Then it’s off to Prinet to explore the National Park of Mantadia and catch a glimpse of the Indri Indri, the largest species of lemur still living. A long and scenic journey follows through the Madagascan highlands to Antsirabe and on to Ranomafana, a vast and beautiful national park teaming with native wildlife.

Cultural Tour: Discover the Real Madagascar
The adventure starts in Antananarivo, the country’s remarkable capital, before travellers are whisked off to Prinet, home to the impressive Analamazaotra Special Reserve and Madagascars most impressive species of lemur, the indri indri. Next it’s on to Ranomafana to spend day and night exploring another of Madagascar’s famed national parks and observing nocturnal lemurs in their natural habitat. Finally you will travel to Mahajanga, on the breathtaking north-east coast to lap up the beautiful scenery of Ampijoroa National Park before travelling back to Antananarivo.

Help to Conserve Madagascar’s Exceptional Wildlife
Surrounded by tropical rainforests and brimming with indigenous species, Mandraka offers a wildlife experience like no other. Here in this incredible setting, you have a unique opportunity to see Madagascar’s native wildlife up-close. Early mornings are an unfortunate must but with a host of wild lemurs to greet you it’s an experience that you won’t want to miss. Teach English and Conserve Madagascar’s wildlife
Madagascar’s capital city, Antananarivo (Tana to the locals) is completely unlike the capital cities found anywhere else in the world. Surrounded by rolling rice paddies, picturesque mountains and lush foothills, Tana is a scenic paradise and yet it offers all the delights of a bustling metropolis. In this impressive setting you will be helping to preserve Madagascar’s indigenous wildlife. Not only will you be helping to feed and care for exotic wildlife at Tsimbazaza Zoo but also be teaching colleagues English language skills that will help them to provide a better service to foreign tourists.

Teaching English in Madagascar
Deep in the Madagascan highlands lies the ramshackle town of Ambatolampy where the traditional Malagasy lifestyle still remains strong. With its lightly sloping valleys and vast open plains the town offers some incredible views of the country and will provide plenty of opportunities for exploration. Based at a local school you will be helping underprivileged youngsters to develop skills they need to build a brighter future. An extremely rewarding experience and unique insight into the local culture.

Work at a Ranch in Rural Madagascar
Based in the traditional town of Ambatolampy, volunteers will be working at a local ranch where they will not only be looking after the horses but also exploring the stunning surroundings by walking them in the forest and riding through the countryside, a definite must for any animal lover.
