Mark Victor Hansen, creator of the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul book series, developed the Mega Book Marketing conference. The limited-seating event brings together authors, publishers and literary agents with the purpose of helping authors gain an insider’s perspective of the publishing industry.

Driscoll participated in a question-and-answer panel with high profile agents and publishers. She also gave a presentation entitled  “Publishing 101: Which Direction is Best for You?” at a breakout session with over 60 individuals in attendance.

Driscoll shared her more than twenty years of experience in the publishing industry with conference attendees. During her presentation, Driscoll explained how traditional publishers choose which books to publish, why it can be extremely difficult to break into the book publishing industry and the pros and cons of self-publishing. Attendees also learned how to take control of the publishing process and guarantee themselves a positive publishing experience.
