About the Author: David White was born and educated in the UK. He has lived in a dozen different capitals around the world, becoming an Australian citizen on the way. After military service as a linguist, he has worked in government, industry and journalism. His home has been in France for many years.
David wrote A Spell in Normandy based on his own experiences, in the hope that the book will give some fun to the many Francophiles, settlers and others who venture across the Channel every year.
