Sapcon launches Capacitance continuous Level Indicator

MPILC uses the RISC core micro-controller technology which makes it flexible and most reliable for measurement of level of liquids in tanks and homogeneous solids in silos in all process industries.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 08, 2007 -
It uses the RISC core micro-controller technology which makes it flexible and most reliable for measurement of level of liquids in tanks and homogeneous solids in silos in all process industries.

The new MPILC..sr. model uses two-wire pulse-coded (interference–free) digital communication between Sensor & Evaluation Unit. Signal can be transmitted up to a max. distance of 1 Km ( 25 Ohm/core ) from the Field Sensor.

Measured Level is displayed continuously on a multi-purpose 5-digit seven segment LED display for best possible resolution and better viewing from a distance.

The instrument uses Universal Power Supply (90 V AC to 265 V AC, 50/60 Hz) and provides 4…20 mA (Galvanically Isolated) output signal proportional to 0…100% level in the tank. This signal can be used for remote indication or control/annunciation.

In addition there are three independent set points which can be set over the entire range using 3-independent potential-free c/o contacts of relays which are integrated into the system.

It’s used extensively in Textile Industry in Dye Houses, Chip dryers, Polyester chips and other utilities besides Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food stuff, F.M.C.G. industry segments.

The instrument has been specially designed keeping in mind the huge demand from the international market.
