The film was converted in IMAX format for an extraordinary experience and is available for viewing at AerenR IMAX Theatre in Adlabs, Pacific Mall, Kaushambhi – the premium movie destination in this part of NCR

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Mar 07, 2007 – The George Miller created “Happy Feet” competed with John Lasseter’s “Cars” and Gil Kenan’s “Monster House” to win the Oscar Award for the Best Animated Feature Film. Backstage after the awards Miller said, “He felt lucky to be working at a time when technology allowed animations like “Happy Feet”.

The film was also converted in IMAX format for an extraordinary experience and is available for viewing at AerenR IMAX Theatre in Adlabs, Pacific Mall, Kaushambhi – the premium movie destination in this part of NCR.

IMAX films have taken viewers on fantastic journeys to places far beyond the reach of most people. Films like Harry Potter, Superman Returns, Space Station (3D) and Open Season (3D) and now the Oscar winner Happy Feet are highly appreciated in IMAX format. The two upcoming films in IMAX format to be released are Spiderman-3 in May and Harry Potter in July.

The IMAX Experience- world’s most immersive movie experience has enthralled and enlightened more than 800 million people. It offers images and sound of unsurpassed quality. These are projected on to specially designed screens. The key to the projection system’s superior performance is the unique “Rolling Loop” film movement, which provides the largest, clearest and steadiest picture in the world.

The ‘15/70’ film format used by IMAX is ten times larger than conventional 35mm film and almost double the size of the latest 70 mm screen widely used across modern multiplexes. The sheer size of a 15/70 film frame, combined with the unique IMAX projection technology is the key to the sharpness and clarity of films exhibited in IMAX theatres. IMAX Theatres feature rectangular screens, upto 8 stories high and 120ft (37m) wide.

The AerenR IMAX Theatre is located at Adlabs Cinema in the popular Pacific Mall at Kaushambi just a few minutes walking distance from Anand Vihar Bus Stop. Its one of the 4 IMAX screens in India and the only one in North India.
