Prayag Montessori is a private Montessori school serving children between the age group of 2 ½ to 5 ½ years. The management of Prayag feels that children need the benefits of having individual attention, as the first formative years are very crucial and also difficult from the perspective of the child. With all the double income and nuclear families growing, every child misses the safety and attention of having its mother or grandparents to lean on during those years- That is where Prayag intends to step in .The Management and staff of Prayag believe that every child deserves a safe, warm and caring environment to grow and develop.
Prayag offers children a “Home away from Home” where in they are able to relax, settle down and at the same time learn while they work. The environment at Prayag has been designed to allow children to move around freely and it also provides a spacious work and play area. Cleanliness and Hygiene play a very important role in Prayag’s Environment.
With regard to the adults/teachers at Prayag, all of them are Montessori certified and we maintain a 1:8 ratio i.e. for every adult she has only 8 children to observe and present with the help of a support staff.
Children should have completed 2 years/2 years 5 months at the time of admission to be considered for acceptance. While the optimal time for admission is December to March for June admission, children may be admitted at any time during the school year when openings exist. Open houses are held in the end of May.
