New York, New York: To showcase it’s high level of craftsmanship and dedication to client care, MyHome (myhomeus.com)
“It’s the natural evolution of the full-service concept for providing our clients with everything under the sun,” says My Home president Mayan Metzler. “We know Cabinetmakers are highly revered in the design market and wanted to honor this by using only the best materials, finishes, and designers. However, high craftsmanship doesn’t have to come at such a high price,” he says.
Metzler is referring to the high prices often attached to European cabinets and the shipping costs that come with them. He has written extensively on this subject on his blog at myhomeus.com/
MyHome Cabinets will be made in their plant in Bergen County, NJ with an eye for matching or surpassing the quality the European counterparts Metzler has been using in his many years as a design expert. The products will debut at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, March 8-11 at Pier 94 in Manhattan, Booth 269.
“Of course we’re trying to create the best cabinets possible at the fairest price. But in doing so, we’re also looking to dispel this “euro magic” concept so prevalent in American thinking. Just because it’s foreign doesn’t mean its better and while names like Scavolini and Pedini, roll off the tongue rather nicely, they don’t translate into higher quality,” Metzler adds.
