The result--a new name to encompass the leadership and integrity of the company, attributes Barefoot and partners Tommy Fonville, Johnny Morisey, Frank Robuck have cultivated since the company’s inception in 1989. The decision to make this change was driven by research conducted with key clients and associates as part of an overall initiative to enhance Fonville Morisey & Barefoot’s services and help foster the growth of real estate development in the local market. This new name in combination with “New Home Sales & Marketing” as a tag line better reflects the depth and breadth of services offered to clients.
The research findings were presented to executives in late 2006. From that point, they decided to immediately inform the staff by introducing the name change internally in late December.
“We initiated this process to assess our perceived image and to align our branding efforts to focus on the company’s established commitment to clients, market leadership, reliable sales results and effective solutions,” says Audie Barefoot, president. “We began by communicating our objectives to employees because everyone who represents our company plays a vital role in representing, protecting and enhancing our brand.”
Beginning immediately all signage will be converted to reflect the current name, look and feel of Fonville Morisey & Barefoot. In addition, the company’s executives will ensure the message is carried out consistently through every point of contact with Fonville Morisey & Barefoot, from business cards and letterhead, to building signage and the Web site.
Barefoot adds, we’ll remain the sales and marketing partner of the Triangle's top builders and developers, helping them design and develop communities that become the area’s top neighborhoods.
