FreemanWhite Contracted By Roanoke-Chowan Hospital To Design Improvements For Chilled Water System

PR Log (Press Release) – Feb 23, 2007 – RALEIGH, N.C. – Ned Jennings, principal at FreemanWhite, has announced that the firm has been contracted by Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, N.C. to design piping and pumping modifications for its chilled water system.  The project will improve chilled water flow associated with an air-handling unit to maximize cooling to the area it serves during peak summer conditions.  The scope of the work includes installation of a new crossover bridge to properly separate the primary and secondary chilled water loops; installation of new secondary chilled water pumps; and miscellaneous clean-up of chilled water piping to eliminate unnecessary bypasses.
