Karting Is Perfect As A Teambuilding Event In Southampton.

When Clare Walsh, a HR Manager for an import/export company based in Southampton, was handed the unenviable task of organizing a team building event, she freely admits that she didn’t know quite where to start.
After endlessly hunting on the internet and seeking the advice of fellow Managers in the area, she found herself been drawn to a Karting venue that was based just 20 minutes from Southampton. She had read in a HR magazine that Karting was now an extremely popular teambuilding event, so she decided to take the plunge and booked a session for the company’s staff.
“A few people were a little apprehensive, but a healthy number signed up, curious as to what it would entail,” she admits.
Clare’s team went on to enjoy a fabulous night at Southampton’s excellent circuit, after making a telephone booking with Karting Nation. Full training and safety briefings were provided, so whether the participants had experience of driving a Kart or not, they all got the most out of the experience.
“The staff at Karting Nation were very friendly when I called them. I didn’t really know what package would be best for us, so it was nice that somebody at the other end knew what would be ideal for us and could give me some useful insight.”
As well as a fun-packed night, where the staff whizzed round Southampton’s indoor 400 metre circuit in easy-to-handle Karts, the evening also proved a major success on the teambuilding front, so both objectives were achieved.
Karting is excellent fun, providing a great combination of skill at exhilarating speeds and great thrills. It really is one great experience that will have you returning back for more!  
“A lot of staff came up to me in the week after the Karting, saying how much they’d enjoyed it and how great it was to chat with fellow members of staff outside the work environment,” said Clare.
