Mark Keane, 33, from Cheetham Hill in Manchester, was landed with the job of arranging a Stag party when his best friend of ten years asked him to be his best man.
“I didn’t know where to start, to be honest,” confessed Mark. “The choice was phenomenal for Manchester, but when I stumbled across the Karting Guide website and realized there was a circuit in Manchester, I made my mind up immediately.”
Based in Gorton, three miles from Manchester city centre, the marvelous site has first class facilities and a superb 340 metre track.
A large proportion of Mark Keane’s party had not experienced Karting before, so they didn’t really know what to expect.
“On arrival at the venue, we were given a full briefing and all the safety information,”
The staff at the Manchester circuit are all extremely experienced in their chosen field and their depth of knowledge is helpful to newcomers to the sport.
“I was amazed at how quickly we all picked it up. The karts are fantastic little machines and I was amazed at the speeds you could reach, whilst still in total control of your driving,” said Mark.
With well-maintained, fully checked Karts and a state-of-art lap timing system, Manchester’s circuit is one of the most respected in the North West.
After the rip-roaring fun, Mark’s group headed into the centre of Manchester, where the party continued late into the night.
“It was the perfect activity to kick off the day. We had a right laugh on the Karts and it’s all we talked and laughed about in the pub afterwards.”
