The world class OC Pavilion is pleased to welcome rising country star Peter Brandon to the main stage on June 9th. Ticket prices range from $20 to $25 and can be purchased through the OC Pavilion box office at 714-550-0550.
Peter grew up in Fullerton, California and attended Sonora High School. In 1994, Peter earned a scholarship to the University of Nebraska to pitch for the Huskers baseball team. This was Peter's first time away from home, and he found himself writing many songs. As a Broadcasting major in college, Peter was able to get into the recording booths late at night to record his music.
After graduation, Peter came home to California. Peter appeared on the USA Network's "Nashville Star" and reached regionals, where he performed to a standing room only crowd at "Montana's" in San Dimas. In 2004, Peter met Travis Tritt's drummer, David Norththrop. David helped Peter arrange a recording session with Nashville recording engineer Frank Green - the result was Peter's self-titled album, "Peter Brandon."
Peter has worked with many big names in Nashville affiliated with Travis Tritt, Rascall Flatts, Garth Brooks, Sara Evans, LeAnn Rimes and many more. He counts among his musical influences Garth Brooks, Steven Curtis Chapman, and James Taylor. Peter’s new CD "Drive real fast" is due out later this month.
The concert begins at 8:00 PM and doors to the OC Pavilion and Ambrosia Restaurant open at 5:00 PM. Dinner reservations are highly recommended.
The OC Pavilion is home to an intimate 529 person capacity theatre and the 5-star, world class restaurant Ambrosia.
