Sarah Spencer, the owner of Got Clicks? became frustrated seeing business people losing thousands of dollars on ineffective websites. “It’s not unusual to see a small business owner drop three to five thousand dollars on a site and not have any ranking on the search engines. It’s like hanging a Picasso in the loo instead of Louvre.”
Spencer teaches a 6 session course that addresses how to build your own website, market it, create links, newsletters and blogs. She keeps this on a very beginner level and refers students to professional web designers when they’re ready to take their internet marketing to the next level. She also teaches how beginners can add their own “Buy Now” buttons from PayPal to help with online purchases from their websites made from simple templates.
Spencer limits the class sizes to 10 so she can give individualized attention. “I want the student who’s just confused about websites, metatags and keywords to have the opportunity to ask all the questions and feel confident moving forward with their marketing plans.”
Sarah Spencer has 13 years of broadcast radio experience, 3 years as the Area Marketing Manager for Adelphia and 5 years selling voice and data solutions for AT&T. She currently owns Vermont Virtual Assistant and teaches classes for Got Clicks? She’s also the author of the e-booklet, “Got Clicks?”
