1st Propane will embark on an aggressive growth plan aimed at adding 200 new franchise locations over the next five years. During the first part of 2007, 1st Propane will focus on expansion on the West Coast, beginning with six counties in northern California: Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Placer, Tehama and Tuolumne. Each of these counties has been determined to have over 10,000 current propane users and strong economic potential for franchise locations.

Each 1st Propane franchise is individually owned and operated within the local community. Franchises service residential homeowners and small commercial businesses that purchase bulk propane to heat their homes and buildings, heat water and cook their meals. Services include tank rental and installation as well as bulk delivery of propane gas.
