Springboard Research Expands Its Japan Operations

PRLog (Press Release) – Feb 06, 2007 – Springboard Research, a leading innovator in the IT Market Research industry, today announced that it has appointed Robert Triendl as its Research Director for Japan. Mr. Triendl will be responsible for expanding Springboard’s presence in Japan and will report directly to Dane Anderson, Springboard’s CEO & EVP of Research.

Robert has a long career in helping companies succeed in Japan along with extensive experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Springboard, he has executed on projects for large IT vendors such as IBM, smaller technology companies, such as the the Seattle supercomputer pioneer Cray Inc., or storage vendor DataDirect Networks (DDN), and market research firms such as IDC and The Yankee Group. Robert holds a masters degree in mathematics, music, and philosophy from the University of Innsbruck Austria and has undertaken graduate studies a various universities, including the University of Tokyo, the Paris School of Mines, and Harvard. Robert is fluent in written and spoken Japanese as well as in English and French, along with his native German.
