Univenture’s UniKeep™ Disc Wallet Chosen by Irish Times

10-Disc Wallet Houses Music in the Classroom Teaching Aid

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Feb 05, 2007 – Marysville, OH – February 5, 2007-- Univenture, Inc., is the award winning inventor and manufacturer of a wide array of environmentally sustainable multimedia packaging solutions, unique document and CD/DVD media storage and mailing products. The company has announced the UniKeep™ 10-Disc Wallet is now being used by the Irish Times for its Music in the Classroom program. Univenture’s team in Dublin, Ireland is providing the packaging for the project.

“Univenture’s UniKeep wallets are durable, stackable, lightweight and environmentally safe for recordable discs and are perfect for a classroom environment,” commented Lisa Hand, European Operations Manager. “The Irish Times’ choice of Univenture’s UniKeep™ 10-Disc Wallet packaging to deliver Music in the Classroom to schools worldwide speaks volumes,” added Hand

Gearoid Grant devised the Music in the Classroom program, along with the backing of The Irish Times and Radio Telefís Éireann (RTÉ, Ireland's Public Service Broadcaster, a major contributor to the arts in Ireland, including the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra). The program was developed to help with teaching students to read or to listen appreciatively and discriminately to music. A live concert, held at various venues throughout Ireland, was incorporated with the intent to help children respond physically, imaginatively, emotionally, and intellectually to what they learned in Music in the Classroom.

The box set of Music in the Classroom contains 10 CDs and includes a teacher’s manual. While having the instructions on CDs brought the program into the digital age, it also presented a new challenge – distribution. After working closely with Univenture’s European team, The Irish Times decided on the UniKeep™ 10-Disc Wallet to be the ideal solution for delivering the program.

As a teaching aid, Music in the Classroom is more popular than ever. The revamped program – in its new Univenture UniKeep™ wallet packaging – has been distributed to schools all over Ireland, Europe, and as far away as South Africa, Australia, and Alaska.

The UniKeep™ Disc Wallet is available in five, 10, 20, 30, 40, & 80 disc capacities. Each size is available with a full-wrap cover overlay, which offers complete customization in a single cover sheet. The stackable bookshelf design and easy shipping is ideal for packaging, archiving and transporting multidisc sets for many commercial and educational applications such as multiple CD music sets, books on disc and data archival purposes.

Univenture’s Disc Wallets have integrated interlocking rings, are made from durable polypropylene and are curbside recyclable worldwide. Polypropylene is also resistant to chemical attack, offers a wider temperature range, and a choice material for long-term archival needs. The wide array of UniKeep disc storage products is compatible with Univenture’s patented Safety-sleeves®.
