(Louisville, KY, February 4, 2007)—SMB Consulting, Inc. just released a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) case study focused on their project with Albuquerque real estate agency Sean Remington & Associates. Early results show an overall increase in weekly search engine (Google, Yahoo, and MSN) based traffic of 121% compared with the three months prior to the optimization effort. The site has also achieved Top 10 rankings for its primary targeted keyword phrase.
SMB Consulting, Inc. was contracted by Sean Remington & Associates on October 6, 2006 to improve the online presence of the website http://www.NMHomesOnline.com and increase the number of visitors via major search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN) for the primary search keyword phrase "Albuquerque Real Estate." Based on a recent Google search, there are over 3 million competing websites for that phrase so reaching the top 10 from #150 in Google, 529 in Yahoo, and greater than 1,000 in MSN is an impressive feat.
SMB Consulting CEO Roger Bauer says the project has been a huge success even though they are still in the early stages, "We've worked closely with Sean to increase awareness of his website and drive more traffic to it via the search world. His weekly Google based search traffic has risen 205% over the three months prior to us working together. That’s a significant improvement although we aren’t finished by any means." A solid link building strategy plus a few relevant site tweaks here and there are the main tasks Bauer points to for those looking to improve their own site rankings, “it’s not rocket science, but it takes some persistence along with an understanding of how search engines work.”
Sean Remington stated "I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I have the good problem of business picking up and have been working around the clock." Prior to working with SMB Consulting, Sean's website saw an average of 62 weekly visitors via the major search engines, but the site now sees an average of 137. His weekly MSN traffic has risen 131% and Yahoo traffic is up 82% in comparison with the three months prior to optimization.
