Gian Fiero named Director of A&R for the Strive For More Music Showcase

Gian Fiero, a recognized authority on commercial music and Independent A&R Specialist who has worked with artists signed to various labels including RCA, Bust-It!, Gasoline Alley, Grand Jury Entertainment, and Interscope, has been named Director of A&R for the Strive For More Music Showcase which spotlights the best up and coming musical talent in the San Francisco Bay Area on a quarterly basis.

Produced by Strive Management (Goapele/Ledisi/Pinay), Gian will be primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of artist relations, negotiations and overall creative direction, and will coordinate repertoire to ensure that artists deliver the utmost satisfaction to the targeted 25-40 year old demographic of the showcase.

Held at Maxwells Lounge, Oakland, California’s premier, upscale R&B venue, each show will include a minimum of two (or a maximum of 4) performers who will sing a combination of covers and originals, and will backed by a contracted “house band”, which will be lead by Grammy nominated music producer Cori Jacobs (Pussy Cat Dolls) and music director for George Clinton and The Temptations.
