For the second consecutive year, Keywords Italia and Keywords International will participate in the 2007 Game Developers Conference (GDC), which will be held in San Francisco, California, from 5 to 9 March, at the Moscone Convention Center.
Keywords Group, which is a major player in the international market of linguistic localization, testing and quality control services, is eager to participate once in the GDC in order to meet its partners and international clients, as it did last year.
For Giacomo Duranti, Keyword's Localization Manager, participating in the San Francisco conference is the ideal way of meeting the world's most important producers and developers of games designed for desktops, consoles, mobile devices, on-line games and arcades. Last year we had the opportunity of signing agreements with Harmonix, Leapfrog, RedOctane and Lucas Arts, among others.
The conference draws over 13,000 visitors - mainly from industry companies - in addition to 200 exhibitors. Considering that approximately 300 conferences and workshops will be conducted in this year's GDC, it is definitely an event not to be missed.
Given that platforms and consoles are becoming more powerful and sophisticated, new games are being developed with cutting-edge technology and market competitiveness is increasingly aggressive, localization, testing and quality control are essential for the success of every product.
