Whether you watch it or not you must have been abducted by aliens these last few days if you’ve not heard all the goings on inside the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Nine housemates remain locked away, but when show bosses introduced Jade Goody and her family two weeks ago they knew what they were doing.
This year’s instalment looked like heading for the scrapheap after the original bunch seemed the dullest selection of Z-listers since the celebrity version began.
Enter Jade – As expected she sparked the house into life and just like her original stint in the house all those years ago she seemed to pick up right where she left off. However with tensions mounting over recent days things finally came to a head between several of the housemates, and yes you guessed it Jade was bang in the middle of it all.
Allegations of bullying and racial abuse have been thrown around by the media, and although viewing figures are up, they all seem to be for the wrong reasons and now show bosses face a real dilemma as to their next move.
The arguments have centred around Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, who’s allegedly been the victim of intense bullying. Various groups outside the house have been outraged by these activities with seemly the whole country gossiping about events.
With all the publicity you could argue the Big Brother are loving the attention but with this story set to run and run it could very well backfire on them in the long run.
