One of latest and most exciting Internet companies to emerge in recent years, Golfers Connect, today announced a five year agreement with a London based organisation called Countdown Card.
On the back of the agreement, Golfers Connect subscribers will receive a branded privilege card that commands exciting discounts in a variety of industry sectors… including leisure, retail, restaurant and holidays.
Golfers Connect, Managing Director Jon Donnell said, “The Golfers Connect privilege card is the first step in our strategy to ensure subscribers to our service gain exclusive and exciting leisure and lifestyle benefits…. as well as gaining access to our unique golf related network”
The Scottish based company plan to add a variety of golf related benefits to its’ membership programme. “We fully expect the Golfers Connect Card to be regarded as an essential accessory by any serious golfers”, said Mr. Donnell, “the agreement with Countdown, standing on it’s own, means our members can easily save £1,000 per annum on most day to day spend items… if they use their card with discipline. This amount represents over ten times the amount we charge for annual membership”
Countdown’s Managing Director Kevin Lake was equally excited by this latest deal and by the potential market for Golfers Connect “In many cases, golf plays as big a part in the lives of people who play the game as religion.
