January 2007 (Raleigh, NC) – Frank Harmon, FAIA, principal of the award-winning firm Frank Harmon Architect in Raleigh, has agreed to serve on two 2007 American Institute of Architects (AIA) design awards juries early this year.
In February, Harmon will help select the winners of the AIA South Carolina Spring Design Awards Program and will host the jury in his offices on Mountford Street in Raleigh. The awards will be presented during the AIA/SC’s annual conference February 24-27, during which Harmon will also present a seminar on the evolution of Modern architecture in the South.
In April, Harmon will serve as a juror for the AIA Austin, Texas, design awards program. AIA Austin represents 70,000 architects and associated professionals and is headquartered in the newly developed Austin Center for Architecture.
Frank Harmon, FAIA, a Raleigh, N.C.-based architect and a professor of architecture at the College of Design, North Carolina State University, has served on many design awards juries, including the national jury for the American Institute of Architects’ 2005 Institute Honor Awards.
