F8 Photo Studios, a partnership between Galati and Jonathan Kaz, makes it a regular business practice to give back to the community by participating in and donating their services for a variety of charitable endeavors. Last September, the partners donated photographic works of art to the “Katrina: One Year Later” event held at the Exploris Museum in downtown Raleigh. In October, they donated their time and talent for the Contemporary Art Museum’s annual “Exposure Time” fundraiser. In November, Galati served as an “IMAGES” speaker (“Inspire, Motivate, And Go Educate Students”) for Communities In Schools of Wake County, which connects students with community resources and educational opportunities to help them succeed in school and in life.
