ALC Releases World’s First ESD Class 0 eLearning course

Automated Learning Corporation® (ALC) of Kanata, Canada announced today availability of a new electronics-training course in electrostatic discharge (ESD) control. ALC has targeted the course to electronics manufacturing facilities that require ESD controls for ultra-sensitive components in the ESD Class 0 range. “ESD: Class 0” is the first training course on the topic to be released in this computer based training (CBT) eLearning format.

Are You “ESD Class 0 Ready”? – Many are not

The requirements of high-performance miniaturized products with ever-smaller device design geometries are driving development of electronic components that are extremely sensitive to static discharge damage. This has created concern for many manufacturers that are, or will be, required to deal with this new generation of Class Zero ESD sensitive components.
