It emerged today that web hosting service provider DigitalRacks (www.digitalracks.com)
DotComBuilding, which restarted under a new domain name 3 months ago are currently affiliates with DigitalRacks, but according to an announcment by DigitalRacks, they are in talks for a take over.
For months DCB has been sending customers in DigitalRacks direction, earning commission based on the signups, as much as 15GBP per Sale. A DotComBuilding spokesman has said "we have worked with DigitalRacks for months now, we were very happy with the agreement we have been following", but they refused to coment on the take over saying "its early stages".
A spokesman from DigitalRacks however commented on the situation saying "we believe its time we expand once again, and are interested in the acquisition of DCB. Current workers will work for us in completing customer orders".
It is said the DigitalRacks want to break away from affiliate related gains from DCB and integrate a turnkey providing service owned by themselves.
This moves comes shortly after they acquired LinuxHostingUK (www.LinuxHostingUK.co.uk)
The offered amounts are currently undisclosed, but DigitalRacks have said that they "wish for the acquisition to have taken place by late January before our campaign with ComputerActive commences".
