Be that as it may, is this simply another gadget or is it a valuable addition? Mrs Bruce remained positive it was the latter. ‘Many of our customers come to us with no idea what colour scheme to have for their wedding and this new tool allows them to quickly develop some great ideas as well as design their wedding stationery.
‘The first thing that struck us about the new mixing centre was that a whole range of colour schemes quickly appear as you use it, possibilities you’d never have considered without such a tool. It’s amazing to see how colours can work together, even we were surprised.’
It’s obvious when you visit willow-wood.biz that a huge amount of effort has been concentrated on creating a good site with some innovative tools. But is this altruistic attitude paying Dividends? ‘Yes it pays’ Mrs Bruce insisted, ‘and I can give you an example of how.
‘I spoke to a customer in Europe just before Christmas, she was in a flap because there was so much to do, not just work commitments and preparing for Christmas but her wedding plans for early spring as well. I was glad to be able to take some of that from her as I personally organised her order and she was grateful for the help. That’s what we’re about, a personal service where we do as much as we possibly can to serve the customer.
‘We’re constantly developing new services as part of that approach, yes they are free so we don’t see a profit from them in that sense but we have a business that will last because customers get what they want, a great service. We love the wedding business, it’s a real privilege to be a part of such a special occasion and we take it very seriously.’
