ChannelPoint.com.au and Interaktiv1 Announce Strategic Alliance

PRLog (Press Release) – Dec 19, 2006 – IT channel industry advocate and upstart ChannelPoint.com.au today announced a strategic alliance with Interaktiv1 Pty Ltd to manage it's local sales and marketing operations. "Our association with Interaktiv1 will further entrench our presence within the Australian IT channel space" a spokesperson for the organisation stated.

Interaktiv1 Managing Director and IT veteran, Mr George Kaponay, added the partnership "heralds a new order in the Australian IT industry" and will lead to "a degree of maturity" that is "sadly lacking".

Deal broker Kaponay, will defer day to day relationship management activities to Robert Nagy, who steps in as Sales and Marketing Director for the ChannelPoint.com.au operations. "In these times of consolidation and rapid change, someone needs to step up to the plate and represent the best interests of smaller players" states Nagy.

ChannelPoint.com.au are currently on a recruitment drive within the Australian IT channel landscape, encouraging industry members to add company profiles and other content related to their channel activities. Nagy adds “We have 18 types of content available for the channels to get across where they fit in within the industry and how they add value”. This will no doubt prove enticing for some resellers struggling to gain that all important credibility and mindshare with leading distributors and vendors.
