Acomplia (rimonabant) is a drug which after one year of use helped the patients to lose kilogs and belly. These patients after two years had not taken them again.

After two years of use they improved also considerably their levels of HDL-cholesterol, noted a fall of triglycerides and had a better sensitivity to insulin.

The rate of the HDL increased by 24.5% and the triglycerides were reduced by 10%, which is twice as much as what could be awaited loss of weight. (in yahoo.news)
