The DLT is a first-of-it's kind tour uniting authors from Black Greek letter organizations to share the diversity and richness of African American literature in a cross-country tour to provide scholarships for indigent students. Black Images is the oldest Black bookstore in Texas having been in business for over 20 years. The business was founded in October 1977 by AKA Soror Emma Rodgers and Ashira Tosihwe.
