Mastermind Groups Profit Small Businesses!

In 1937 soon after the Depression Napoleon Hill wrote his classic book, "Think and Grow Rich!" and it was read by millions. In 1960 Napoleon Hill himself modified the book and took out many of the Depression-era examples. But it has been recently revised again by Ross Cornwell who saw the marvelous things that were written in that original version. He realized that many of these principles are just as valid today in our tumultuous economy as they were 70 years ago.

One of the principles that Napoleon Hill discusses is the need to belong to a mastermind group. He even says "Great power can be accumulated through no other principal than that of the mastermind!" He also goes on to say that "the mastermind may be defined as coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose." You will not long stay in a group when you don't do the things you promise to do.

Each American Mastermind group starts out with an 8-12 week book study on the book, "Think and Grow Rich!" They meet together with each of the other members in their city at whatever time the group decides to meet. There are breakfast groups, lunch groups, dinner groups and weekend groups. Someone is assigned as president of the group and is given an outline to follow. Kelly also conducts conference calls and webinar's with the various groups on subjects in the book. Each of these mastermind groups hold each other accountable and responsible for the decisions they make. Many times these groups become close friends and the success they enjoy together can last for generations.

There are strict rules of confidentiality required among the members. Also competing companies are not allowed in the same group. Once a month all of the groups in a certain city will meet together and exchange leads to build up their networks.
