DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – November 23: The deVere & Partners Group – the world’s largest Offshore Financial Advisory firm – is pleased to announce the success of its first Annual Charity Ball in the UAE, which was held for the benefit of UNICEF.
The Ball, hosted by deVere’s Dubai-based P.I.C. Middle East operation, was held last night at the five-star Dusit Hotel in Dubai. The event raised thousands of dollars to benefit UNICEF’s campaign to aid the children of Lebanon.
“The Ball was held for the benefit of an extremely worthy cause,” said deVere & Partners’ Rebecca Ward, responsible for organising the event. “The charity event was so well-received by clients and influential corporate guests that it appears, by popular demand, it will be the first of many to come.”
In addition to deVere, sponsors of the event included Prudential, Royal Skandia, Frontier Capital, Platinum, Zurich, Forsyth, Friends Provident, Knowledge Network, Azure Marine and Quintessentially. Close to 250 attendees participated in the charity ball.
For 60 years, UNICEF has been the world’s largest provider of vaccines for developing countries, and sponsors child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation, quality basic education, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS. The campaign for the children of Lebanon includes the immunization of children displaced by the recent conflict in the country.
