VOCA2 is an EU project partially financed by the DG Education and Culture of the European Commission under the Leonardo Da Vinci - Community Vocational Training Action Programme (Second phase: 2000-2006) and comprises 14 partners from 7 different countries. It started on the 1st of January 2006 and will end on the 31st of December 2007.
The network is developing mentor training courses for aspiring mentors who would like to help people with disabilities make a smoother transition into the labour market while also ensuring that people with disabilities maintain their job. The target group of the project are institutions of vocational training and education, teachers, people with disabilities, and the labour market. The VOCA2 partnership includes a wide range of proficiency in providing vocational training and other support into the labour market for people with disabilities. However it is recognised that a wealth of expertise lies outside its network.
