Wells Fargo & BRG vs. Global Branding Group a 3 year old legal triangle, which is a dispute between a Small African American owned business, one of the country's largest banks and the loan facilitator, involves ethics, representation and business financing. Though arbitration began in August of 2005 there have been numerous delays, opening arguments in this case are currently scheduled to start in November 2006, and will be playing out in Superior Court and Arbitration simultaneously.
Wells Fargo, the nations 5th largest Bank. Originally filed suit against Global Branding Group, Inc. On September 8th 2004, in Superior Court of California, Torrance CA (Case No. YC049592). When Global Branding Group, Inc. counter sued, Wells Fargo immediately partitioned for arbitration (Case No. 72 14800636 05 VIAM). The partition was fought and the ruling appealed by Global Branding Group however the judge ruled that the case was to be moved to arbitration
The Business Resource Group (BRG) a non-profit organization owned by Ms Sharon Evans the loan facilitator. This case was also filed over two years ago and still in Superior Court this case is scheduled to open in December 2006.
Global Branding Group is a California based marketing company founded by Ron Harris, (Est. 1992.) who received a loan from Wells Fargo, facilitated by The Business Resource Group.
