Ultrawave expands into new premises
Cardiff based ultrasonic cleaning equipment manufacturer Ultrawave have moved to Eastgate Business Park, Cardiff. The purpose built site offers increased production capacity and means the company can capitalise on the exciting growth it has experienced in the past two years.
Ultrawave have been manufacturing ultrasonic cleaning systems for over fifteen years and employ approximately thirty staff. Used in medical, scientific and industrial applications, every benchtop and industrial bath is manufactured on site. The baths use ultrasonic energy to clean surgical instruments, industrial components and many other items. An environmentally friendly, solvent free technology, ultrasonic cleaning systems are being used more and more in a wide variety of industries.
Recent developments and success in new markets meant that Ultrawave outgrew its previous Oxford Street location. With office and production facilities on the same site, the unit became too small to meet the company's requirements. The production area at the recently completed Eastgate Park is more than double the size of the old building. Furthermore, the new location offers greatly improved facilities for product research and development.
