Well-known career college HBI is poised to become one of Ontario’s premier accredited centres of career-oriented education and corporate training. After a period of operating under two different names in two locations, HBI College has completed its amalgamation and acquired an exciting new face to present to consumers looking for high-quality training and employment assistance.
“We are all very excited and energized by our new look and our unified mission,” said Cindy Ryan, HBI’s Director of College and Career Services. “More importantly, we want our clients to know that our unification makes us even better able to serve them. Operating out of campuses in Burlington and in Mississauga, we have over forty years’ experience in career education. That experience is what ultimately benefits our clients.”
With the passage of the PCC Act in 2005, the compliance standards by which career colleges in Ontario are regulated have been tightened. Ms Ryan points out that “we are well ahead of the game. Students and potential students should know that our compliance helps to ensure that our programs are second to none, and our instructors are among the best. We are totally focused on delivering the best training available anywhere.”
HBI College has long been known for its accredited Police Foundations program and for its Office Administration diploma program. Diploma status was granted to our logistics training course, the Supply Chain and Inventory Management Program, this past summer. The college also offers a comprehensive range of customized corporate training services for businesses, as well as many short-term courses for clients who want to upgrade their workplace skills and improve employability. In addition to its courses of study, the college offers career counseling and life-long employment placement assistance that boasts a success rate of greater than eighty percent.
Diploma and certificate courses are offered by the college’s three faculties: Law and Security, Business, and Technology.
