Karneval Masque, a Miami-based manufacturer of Venetian-style masks, announced today a new line of high-fashion masks called its “Couture” collection. The Couture collection incorporates exotic fabrics and materials from noted international designers such as Garavani Valentino, Emanuel Ungaro and Giafranco Ferre.
“Some of our best ideas come from customers and retail partners”, says Karnevàl founder Nicole Keable. “In this case, the Couture concept arose out of discussions with trendy retailers in New York and L.A. who are always seeking unique, sophisticated fashion accessories for their clientele.”
The Couture designs will retail from $95 - $200. “Our company mission is to create high quality masks for people to wear, whether for special occasions or as an accessory. While most of our designs still sell in the $50 - $65 range, we are constantly looking to expand our product line and customer base. We’ve seen a demand for masks that are equivalent to jewelry, less “theatrical”
