ZiPCOM Corporation, the leading VoIP product provider based on Taiwan, announced today ZiPEG-S24 series, the high-density VoIP Gateway, with full SIP/H.323 standard compliant and up to 24 FxS/FxO ports to support both PBX and PSTN integration. By modular hardware design, ZiPEG can be configured to support 8/16/24 ports with FxS or FxO ports, to meet different customer’s application requirements.
ZiPEG-S24 supports almost all the high-end VoIP gateway features, including Smart-QOS, T.38 fax, G.723/G.729 codec, G.168 echo cancellation, Symmetric RTP and STUN for NAT/Firewall traverse, Caller ID, hunting group, etc. The built-in NAT router allows the extra convenient and easy installation.
ZiPEG-S24 series have been tested compatible with all major SIP/H.323 serveers including Cisco Call Manager, Asterisk, Lucent i-Merge, Nortel MCS, Radvision, Gnu-GK, and Vovida, etc.
ZiPEG-S24 can also be integrated with SkyPBX to provide the universal internetworking among SIP/H.323 and Skype. Enterprise users can now use their existing desktop SIP/H.323 phone sets to make and to receive Skype calls all over the world via SkypeOut/SkypeIn/
