eClaim.biz - New Online Claims Processing Service Supports Billing Within Scope of Practice

ABC Coding Solutions launches eClaim.biz, an online claims processing service. The new application allows healthcare practitioners to generate paper and electronic claims using a variety of HIPAA code sets.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Oct 16, 2006 – October 16, 2006 -- ABC Coding Solutions (www.ABCcodes.com) announces the launch of eClaim.biz (www.eClaim.biz), the first and only online claims processing service to include ABC codes. The application allows healthcare practitioners to choose CPT®, HCPCS II, and/or ABC codes to document and bill for care. eClaim.biz is the only Web-hosted application that supports billing within scope of practice for multiple practitioners in multiple states.

The application guides users in choosing only those codes that are within their scope of practice in the state where they provide services and also allows users to bill using any code set they choose. eClaim.biz gives medical and non-medical healthcare practitioners the choice of filing paper or electronic claims. Non-physicians will benefit from guidelines on staying compliant with state scope of practice laws.

eClaim.biz subscriptions start at under $50 a month per practitioner. Electronic claims can be routed to commercial or government payors for only $.25, less than the cost of a stamp. Subscribers can also purchase unlimited commercial electronic claims for $15 per practitioner per month. Filing claims electronically with eClaim.biz helps both practitioners and insurance companies save administrative costs. As healthcare expenditures rise and consumers begin accessing a wider variety of healthcare practitioners, eClaim.biz is ready to support this market trend.

"Our whole process is aimed at reducing paperwork, legal exposure, data entry time, and billing errors. Our goal is to save time and money for both practitioners and insurance companies," said Melinna Giannini, President of ABC Coding Solutions.
