Mrs. Dawson is the founder and owner of Creative Decorators. She is a certified interior decorator. She has appeared in various publications. Locally, she is collecting prestigious nominations and awards including Over and Beyond award from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Alliance Group and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Outstanding Community Involvement Micro Business Award 2006. Most recently, she is the winner of the Staples Outstanding Emerging Business Cash Award.
Mrs. Dawson still makes time to actively support Mary’s House, a home for young women leaving the foster care system. It is an 18-month transitional living program that is designed to meet the needs of at-risk and former female foster youth who have recently transitioned out of San Diego’s Foster Care System.
Mrs. Dawson recently spoke at the San Diego Interior Design Show and presented to an overly enthusiastic crowd on the topics, How to Make a No Sew Headboard for Less than $100 and Color Theory. She also spoke at Mary’s House discussing, Goal Setting. Her many talents also boast of being a recent author, Discovering Me, a fascinating tale of a young woman losing herself in a powerful career and a man. Soon to be found on the best-seller’
Her associations involve: Certified Interior Decorators International, California Elected Women’s Association and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce where she is a “Circle of Influence” member.
