FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) – According to Miguel Vitorino, co-founder and CEO of Myspeex, "The burgeoning number of sites of the so-called 'Web 2.0' technology shows that the Internet is moving fast to a more personal paradigm where sites care for your needs and wishes and not the other way around". The Web 2.0 is a group of technologies that include technical standards, visual clues and social networking features.

Myspeex.com will provide Web 2.0 features for corporate sites and, most importantly, intranets. "Corporate social networking applications could reinforce companies identity, improve internal communications and promote brand loyalty". Among the many applications Myspeex.com is going to develop are games and knowledge databases (wiki-like). Myspeex is starting conversations with several multinational companies and "the feedback has been fantastic, our clients were the first to propose applications for the technology we didn't thought about", said Miguel.

MOBILE SOCIAL NETWORKS: A MULTI-BILLION INDUSTRY

Another business opportunity Myspeex is pursuing are Web 2.0 applications for cell phone users. "It makes a lot of sense to carry in your pocket a list of your favorite personal applications, just like you have the phone numbers of your favorite friends.” The first examples of web 2.0 applications for cell phones are starting to appear. For instance, some cellphone operators provide personal 'radio' channels that plays only the music you like. “Although hampered by lack of adequate processing power in most current phones, Myspeex believes this will be a multi-billion dollar industry in a couple of years and this is the right time to enter the market".

In the coming months Myspeex will start Round One financing talks to support the company's growth and R&D in long-term applications.
