FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) – This week Metromind launched the new version of Bluo, the website-builder and content management system (CMS). Bluo 1.1 comes with a listing option for all those who want to publish on their website lists of articles, press releases, commercial products or any other items. One can download the new version of the CMS from www.bluocms.com.

Bluo 1.1 is an upgrade available for all Bluo Professional users. In august 2006 Metromind launched online Bluo, a super intuitive CMS. Ever since, Bluo has received numerous acknowledges from software specialized websites, especially due to its intuitive and user friendly interface. This interface allows anyone to create and then manage her website, without knowing any programming code. The trick was to build Bluo to resemble as much as possible to a desktop application. And anyone who has ever used Windows and Word, knows how to use Bluo in order to modify or update their website.

In fact, it is with two Web 2.0 concepts in mind, user friendliness and easy to use that Bluo was created.

And not only did Metromind obey the Web 2.0 principles when building Bluo, but it also employed some of its most appreciated technologies, such as RSS support and Ajax.

Using Ajax, a high class technology, Metromind was able to create a web application strikingly resembling a desktop product. This application allows any website owner to create and manage entire lists of items: be they articles, press releases, products or anything else, it takes only minutes for anyone using Bluo 1.1 to add, delete or modify an item.

Next, the RSS support allows the website visitors to receive by subscription anything new that has been listed on that website. This imposes Bluo 1.1 as a powerful marketing tool for keeping the website visitors informed and up-to-date with anything that is of interest to them.
