Maverick seeks to move beyond the techie designs that dominate the existing headset category. “Today with an increasing number of mobile phones shipping with Bluetooth capability, Nica is timely, modern and innovative,”
Nica’s technical improvements include a patented acoustic design with a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) to cancel out background noise, conversations and wind. The microphone is now inside the circular housing and allows for the boomless, circular shape. The Maverick Nica Headset and Car Dock System includes the Bluetooth Headset along with a magnetic attachment to the Home Charging Dock and Car Dock, providing effortless charging for Nica. Gone are the days where you have to remember to charge your headset or fumble carrying multiple chargers. The Nica Headset eliminates the difficulties by firmly attaching to either Dock and is always charging whether powered on or off. The convenient Car Dock offers Auto-Connect, so when the user opens the car door, the headset is triggered to connect to the phone. The Car Dock may be mounted in a variety of ways in the car including plugging directly to the cigarette lighter. Nica combined with the home and car charging options is sure to dominate the hands-free Bluetooth category.
