Hexis USA of Corona, CA announce the release of a completely new adhesive technology: HEX’PRESS, ideally suited for vehicle graphics and markings.
After an extensive research period, Hexis is introducing a series of vinyl films for solvent inkjet printing with a newly developed liner and adhesive compound that make the product repositionable during application and allowing convenient elimination of air bubbles. Thus wet application is no longer required and the risks associated with wrinkles and entrapped air are avoided.
Consequently, the term “High Performance”
The main characteristics of the new technology are:
- Features: Structured high performance adhesive, embossed liner, plasticized polymeric vinyl
- Advantages: Repositionable during application, fast and risk free transfer, considerable time saving
- Benefits: Cost saving through more efficient application of long-term durability products, overall improved printing performance
The technology will progressively be extended to all major product ranges. The following products are available from now:
HX200WG1 High Performance Vinyl with structured gray permanent adhesive liner compound for solvent printers
HX201WG1 High Performance Vinyl with structured clear permanent adhesive liner compound for solvent printers
Both products feature a polyethylene liner for improved stability. The liner is insensitive to humidity and temperature changes. The standard roll sizes are 148ft long and 54in or 63in wide. Data sheets and samples are available on request from Hexis USA or your local distributor.
