Still in our first year of trading, duodi was formed in 2005 to bring our creation to the public. The registered design is unlike any other on the market.
Jersey Pottery; the World famous Channel Islands based company jumped at the chance to manufacture our dispensers. "Visually a simple creation, its production caused a few challenges, so it was cheers all round when the first batch was ready!" said Michele Clark, duodi's founder.
Our hard work was rewarded this year with an invitation to join the exclusive designGAP. Membership is based on design excellence, innovative creation and professional attitude. designGAP was founded by celebrated designer/artist Shirley Frost in 1980 as a non-profit making organisation. In 1997 the first designGAP BUYERS' GUIDE was published and annual editions have followed. This august there are updates of the directory in two retailers magazines - 'Progressive Gifts' and 'Homes Worldwide'. Their prominent presence at both trade and public fairs is emphasised by strong branding - the easily recognisable red and white designGAP banners being displayed over the grouped exhibitors.
