Toronto, September 25, 2006 – Traffic at the Mobile Jam Fest web site rapidly increased from 20,000 hits per day last week to over 6 million hits on Sunday, September 24. After adjusting the network to handle the increased traffic the site is up again and open for submissions.
“Already we have had over 11 million hits on http://www.mobilejamfest.com site and people are beginning to upload their films, “said Craig Goodwill, President Culture Creatives and Company, festival developer. “It goes to show the power of the internet, the passion of youth to be creative, and how valuable partners like Windows Live are in creating awareness for youth led initiatives."
Goodwill Continued "We expected the site to get busier but did not expect it this quickly. People are uploading their films so now everyone can view their submissions.”
