From September 2006 members of the public will be free to register their interest in PartOwners.com group share schemes with the view to buying either a half or quarter share in one of three types of luxury Hymer motorhomes or two Swift caravans. With the registration details complete, PartOwners.com will match the customers to form membership groups of two or four persons so enabling them to share the Motorhome or Caravan using a rolling calendar to enable fair equal access to all times of the year over a four year period.
"We believe we have identified an obvious gap in the motorhome and caravan market. Group ownership is now common in boating and holiday home markets. Just as in these markets people who buy a motorhome or caravan normally only use them a for just a fraction of the year. The rest of the time the vehicle is in storage or parked on the owners driveway. This is not an efficient use of peoples hard earned money. To spend only a fraction of the normal price on a brand new motorhome or caravan and share the yearly cost of ownership too, will be an incredibly attractive proposition to a lot of people," said PartOwners.com, Robert Moores. "Moreover, because PartOwners.com will be giving 95% of the selling price of the vehicle back to the Part Owner Group Members at the end of the 4 year agreement period we will be offering the very lowest possible year on year ownership costs available."
